Great hotel, the staff were really pleasant at all times. We were told they had got a lot of new staff recently. They were very helpful with baggage’s when we arrived, though after we waited a while for our bags I went to reception to see long they would be and our bags were infront of the desk at reception. And no one knew who they belonged to. We were offered water, minced pies and mulled wine on arrival while we waited for our room to be ready. Which was ready on time. We were asked if we would like Prosecco on the house to our room, we said why not if coarse. This never arrived, and when our bags came to the room we mentioned this and the butler and he said ok I will chase this up with his team but we never heard back. Apparently our room was upgraded. Not sure what from and too but no complaints about the room, very clean. We asked for some milk at the bar for our baby and that was no problem which was great. We had a really good time and feel the staff were very pleasant at all times. Very good for the money. I think the doorman was called Dennis very nice man, friendly 10/10 over all we had a great time. We had an evening meal at the Aviary in the winter igloo which was fantastic and had a great view. The food was fantastic and we also had breakfast up there the next morning which was very good. Definitely worth the money.

The hotel’s location is fantastic. In a nice area of London, with plenty of access to transport. We stayed in the Club room which included the lounge in the evening. Fantastic room, very comfy. We were greeted by Prosecco at reception and the customer service throughout our stay was impeccable. It was our anniversary, and they had petals presented on the bed with balloons and a cake in the room, a lovely little surprise! A special note to Diana and Daniela who worked on reception, they were lovely and made sure we were looked after well throughout the two nights. The aviory on the rooftop was incredible and we had probably the best roast dinner we’ve had in London. Again, excellent customer service all round. Mark who I believe was the restaurant manager was lovely and showed a great deal of attention to us. Last note was that we ordered room service breakfast and sadly it didn’t show up. We called reception and they refunded us and we had a complimentary meal and coffee downstairs to make up for it, a very nice touch! Safe to say we’ll be staying again !

A special mention to Guest Relations Executive, Selina, who made the extra effort of making my mum feel special for her birthday by giving her a handwritten card, complimentary bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The spa staff were also very helpful in sorting out our treatments, especially Ioana who was very friendly and accommodating. Overall amazing experience and will definitely be back soon!

The staff and service as always are superb (Daniel, Camelia, Otilia , Daniel and Cherif) and clearly the team does a great job as new members such as Elizabete seem really at ease dealing with guests.
